Imagine you’re a writer in search of the story of the century and rock star Anthony Phoenix is that story. Now imagine he’s completely unwilling to give you that interview. Such is the life for Summer Staite. What’s a girl to do? Read Rockstar and find out.
I love Ms. Adair’s style of writing. She writes a crisp story with intelligent, witty characters. Although I found a few of the descriptions a bit hot for some readers, I found it hard to tear myself from the story. The reader can relate to the characters on so many levels. We all deal with misunderstandings and the threat that a simple accident can totally rearrange our lives. I respected Summer’s decisions when dealing with Anthony and rallied for them to work things out. As a hero, I liked Anthony’s split persona. Outwardly, he’s a rock god, brooding and edgy. On the inside, he’s still just Tony, the guy who wants unconditional acceptance and love.
If you want a searing hot read with a sexy musician and an independent woman, then look no further than Rockstar. You’re in for a treat. I give this novella 5 books. - Tiger Lily for Long and Short Reviews
